Notes: Close-up view looking along length of Balcony House cliff dwelling and its alcove. A ladder that allows visitors to access site can be seen at the far end of the dwelling and the balcony that gives the site its name can be seen at the center of the image.Balcony House is a moderate sized cliff dwelling that faces east. It contains approximately 35-40 rooms and housed about 40-50 people. Two numbers written on sleeve 1468 and (more recently) 456. Also typed on sleeve is "Mesa Verde Balcony House close"
