Technology at FLC
At FLC, we believe in the importance of technology in our lives. To support personalized and hands-on education, we ask students to have a laptop and specific software.
We understand that not everyone has equal access to technology. That’s why we offer a limited number of free or affordable tech packages on a first-come, first-served basis. Our goal is to ensure that as many students as possible have the tools they need to keep up with the digital world.
UPDATE: All laptops have been rented for the Fall Semester. Please check back Spring 2025 Semester for availability.
FLC provides free wifi Internet access in all areas of campus. Use the Fort Lewis College network for the most secure and fastest network connection.
Through a grant with the US Department of Education, $100 per semester scholarships are available to supplement off campus internet access.
Eligiblity requirements are:

Rent your tech
Rental agreement:
When you reserve your tech bundle, we'll send you a link to the rental agreement that explains what happens if you don't return or damage the equipment.
*If you bring your own device, be sure it meets these minimum requirements:
Windows 10
Mac
Not recommended
Our shared campus printer program will help you save time and money. Using the printer program is less expensive than bringing your own, as you won't have the upfront cost of a printer or the ongoing costs of paper, ink, and repairs. We don't recommend you bring a printer to the residence halls, especially wireless printers, as they cause interference with the wireless network.
You have a $4.00 /semester printing and copier allowance with unused amounts rolling over to the next semester. Printers are located in all residence halls and computer labs. If you use all of your printer allowances, you can use Skycash.
